Donna Cona Inc. is currently seeking a Records / Information Management resource, for one of our key clients. Candidate will be working on an upcoming Departmental Re-Org Project.
Candidate MUST have the following:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, Library Science, or a related field; Proven experience in electronic records management and data retention; Expertise in SharePoint migration and management; Strong understanding of records management principles and best practices; Excellent organizational and project management skills; Ability to work independently and as part of a team; Strong communication and interpersonal skills; Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and compliance; and Certification in Records Management (CRM) or Information Governance (IGP) is a plus.Candidate should have the following demonstrated experience:
Developing and implementing records management policies and procedures tailored to reorganization process (creation of RIM reorganization procedure); Overseeing the reorganization, transfer, storage, and retrieval of physical and electronic records to ensure efficient access and management; Overseeing the updating of affected Records Retention Schedule (RRS) and creation of data retention schedule for electronic records; Ensuring compliance with existing and legal requirements during the reorganization; Leading the mapping and migration of affected government branch records and data to SharePoint, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum efficiency; Overseeing the cleanup of on-premises data storage to streamline records management and improve data integrity; Conducting comprehensive audits and assessments of current records management practices to identify areas for improvement; Providing targeted training and support to staff on records management best practices, focusing on changes due to reorganization; Collaborating with IT, Archives and ATIPP to ensure seamless integration and functionality of records management systems during the reorganization; Monitoring and reporting on the effectiveness of records management programs, with a focus on reorganization outcomes; and Proactively addressing and resolving any issues related to records management that arise during the reorganization process.Donna Cona is committed to a diverse, equitable and inclusive workplace.
