RECORDS MANAGEMENT CLERK, Full-time, 12 months/yr.
Monroe 2-Orleans BOCES
Responsible for assisting districts and BOCES departments with the management of inactive staff, student and financial records in paper, microfilm and digital formats.
TYPICAL DUTIES:
+ Receives various documents and papers for storage, digitizing and/or microfilming.
+ Prepares documents for digitizing/filming and coordinates with third-party vendors to schedule pickup of records.
+ Inspects records when returned, comparing original paper copies to digitized/filmed copies created by third-party vendors to look for errors.
+ Responds to requests from district and department users for retrieval of records as needed.
+ Maintains records and inventory of all record formats retained at BOCES.
+ Follows processes and procedures for records management and retention consistent with BOCES Policy and NYS Archives.
+ Other related tasks as assigned.
Job Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent and relevant experience in records management.
