Role
The Network Records Specialist ensures the compliance, integrity and ‘readiness’ of fiber assets (Hubs, Panels, Splices, Slacks, Fiber, Conduit, Nodes, Circuits, etc.), and ensures that fiber management policies, standards and procedures are properly implemented and followed. This position is responsible for the implementation and quality of fiber asset data and monitors all proposed changes to fiber assets. Works closely with engineering, construction, operations personnel, 811 Services team, sales, and product development to ensure database accuracy, maintain data quality, register conduit and support other departments to meet company objectives. Analyzes, manages and resolves issues in a timely manner.
Responsibilities
Oversee and maintain accurate and comprehensive files and records for the organization. Classify, index, and catalog records for easy storage and retrieval. This involves understanding the nature of the information, the requirements for its use, and the end-users' needs Regularly audit records for accuracy and compliance with internal and external standards and regulations. Continually review and recommend improvements to records management policies, processes, and systems to increase efficiency and compliance. Execute clean-up projects and update necessary systemsExpectations

Education/Certifications
High School DiplomaExperience/Minimum Requirements
3 + years’ experience working in a GIS or related system 3 + years of digitizing and editing data attribution experience Experience reading construction drawings a plusOrganizational Relationship

Working Conditions: This role falls into our hybrid work model working in the office on Monday through Thursday. On Fridays, teammates on the hybrid schedule will have the option to work from the office or home. There is an expectation of collaboration with teammates and stakeholders for moments that matter that could require travel.
