Position Title:Records Specialist III-Small Cell (T3)

Role:
The Records Specialist III ensures the compliance, integrity and ‘readiness’ of Small Cell assets (Hubs, Nodes, equipment information, pole information, geographic location information, etc.), and ensures that Small Cell management policies, standards and procedures are properly implemented and followed. This position is responsible for the implementation and quality of asset data and monitors all proposed changes to assets. Review and manage Small Cell asset data using the Network Records Systems (NRS) that includes connectivity software, GIS mapping and reporting, and the relationships with Legal Contract abstractions, financial ERP systems, Property Management software. At times may work closely with field personnel, such as engineering and construction teams, to ensure database accuracy, maintain data quality, and support other departments to meet company objectives. Analyzes, manages and resolves issues in a timely manner.
Responsibilities:
Analyze and manage NRS (Network Records Systems) data and corresponding relationships to internal platforms and utilization, contracts and financial data to ensure proper downstream reporting and interpretation within/between all systems
Analyze data from NRS applications to determine asset relationship between new sales proposals and existing outside plant to ensure proper application of Customer Contract terms related to asset use.
Present created reports in dashboard format using Microsoft Power BI or similar for presentation to department leadership with recommendations for improvements
Execute quality checks on the data to ensure asset integrity and resolve data conflicts to maintain compliance.
Create reports for management teams, including but not limited to area field teams, Finance, Accounting, Property Tax, Corporate Reporting, Business Performance, Engineering and Operations. Provide technical support to user base including Engineering, area field teams, the NOC, and Change Management via phone, email or Helpdesk ticket Develop and enhance standard and ad hoc reporting to provide data integrity, volumes and cycle time metrics, and guidance for management decision making Lead special projects involving customer requests, data reconciliation, system integrations Facilitate and attend meetings as departmental SME Review Small Cell construction engineering drawings and data to identify data changes and needs to asset databases. Enter and manipulate data in Geographic Information System (GIS) applications which model telecommunications systems as needed. Work closely with RF engineers and field operations personnel and others to QC asset data and ensure asset integrity, resolve data conflicts, certify information and update GIS database. Coordinate solutions in accordance with asset policies, standards and procedures to maintain compliance and maximize asset yield. Provide guidance and training for business partners on effective and efficient use the asset databases. Respond to asset database issues, escalate issues to the Supervisor and Manager, and provide assistance to users with asset system issues. Promptly respond to assigned tickets and work orders to ensure accurate data in the systems and provide maps and information as needed. Perform other duties as assigned or required.

Education/Certifications:
High School Diploma Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in GIS, EE, Telecommunications, Accounting or related field or equivalent years of experience, education and/or training preferred
Experience/Minimum Requirements:
5 + years’ experience working in an asset NRS or related system 3 + years’ experience with GIS, asset databases and/or tools preferred Experience in 1.0 Process and reading construction drawings preferred

Working Conditions: This role falls into our hybrid work model working in the office on Tuesday through Thursday. On Mondays and Fridays, teammates on the hybrid schedule will have the option to work from the office or home. There is an expectation of collaboration with teammates and stakeholders for moments that matter that could require travel.
