Recovery & Resolution Planning - Executive Director
The Recovery & Resolution Planning (RRP) team sits within the Corporate Treasury & Chief Investment Office (CTC) as part of the Treasury function. The RRP team is a firmwide function responsible for designing, managing, and delivering the Firm's Resolution plans, which demonstrate how the Firm would continue to operate when faced with material financial distress or failure of the company. Resolution Plans are required by the Firm's US and international regulators. As an Executive Director of Recovery & Resolution Planning within our firm, you will act as the primary authority on US Recovery & Resolution (R&R) planning requirements. Your responsibilities will include offering strategic guidance, interpreting rules, and supporting the firm's advocacy efforts in relation to R&R planning and Total Loss Absorbing Capital (TLAC). You will also lead a team tasked with maintaining the firm's R&R capabilities testing and assurance contingency actions frameworks, and supervising the execution of central R&R testing and assurance activities. **Job Responsibilities** + Maintain a deep level of expertise on rule requirements and supervisory expectations for TLAC and R&R planning, particularly as they evolve with market events + Work with the RRP team, corporate functions and Lines of Business (LoBs) to help drive advances in the Firm's R&R planning processes that are aligned with supervisory expectations + Represent the Firm's advocacy position on TLAC and key R&R related matters with policy makers and trade associations + Maintain and oversee documentation and ongoing application of the Firm's testing and assurance framework covering it's US R&R capabilities + Maintain and oversee ongoing application of the Firm's framework for identifying, quantifying and testing a comprehensive list of contingency actions + Plan and execute on the firm's centrally managed R&R testing program + Represent the Firm with supervisors in their reviews of the firm's capital management framework and recovery and resolution plans + Develop the Firm's approach to addressing new Resolution requirements for its Insured Depository Institution **Required qualifications, capabilities and skills** + 10+ years of experience working with US regulations in the financial services sector + Deep expertise in US Resolution and/or Recovery planning requirements + Policy Advocacy with US Regulatory Agencies, or work experience in a US Regulatory Agency + Experience with managing significant projects at a globally active financial institutions + Team management experience **Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills** + Broad expertise across the US prudential regulations JPMorganChase, one of the oldest financial institutions, offers innovative financial solutions to millions of consumers, small businesses and many of the world's most prominent corporate, institutional and government clients under the J.P.
