**Amentum** is seeking a **Gym Attendant** located in the Williamsburg area of Virginia. The **Gym Attendant** is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the gym facility. This position is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the gym facility to include an indoor and outdoor pool. The Gym Attendant’s duties are inclusive of, but not limited to: **Job Responsibilities:** + Cleaning & sanitization of recreational supplies, gym equipment, and the gym facility. + Scheduling and supervision of lifeguard staff. + Daily inspection of gym equipment to ensure safe operation and maintain a log of inspections. + Provide a positive customer experience to patrons of the gym and pools. + Answer gym related questions and demonstrate proper use of exercise equipment. + Schedule repairs and routine maintenance for exercise equipment with maintenance vendor. + Ensure gym equipment is organized and clean. Equipment includes weights, balls, ropes, bars, etc. + Ensure gym consumables, such as towels, sanitizing cleaners, chalk, etc. are stocked and available for patrons. + Coordinate the preparation and use of the sport courts. + Maintain an up-to-date inventory of sporting goods and recreational equipment such as: + Fishing supplies + Jogging Vests + Gloves, bats, balls, and rackets + Provide support and guidance to gym attendees in the provision of body fit assessments. + Ensure all Quality Control processes and policies are being adhered to. + Ensure facilities are compliant with NAVFAC inspection requirements. + Strong communication and problem-solving skills. + Ability to manage schedules and operational tasks efficiently. + Proficient in MS Outlook, Excel, and Word. + Other duties as assigned. **Minimum Requirements:** + High School Diploma or equivalent. + Lifeguard certification. + Computer literate in Microsoft Office Suite and Windows operating systems. + US Citizen or Naturalized Citizen + Preferred CPT (certified personal trainer) or similar with industry experience in hands-on roles such as personal trainer, group fitness instructor, or front-desk associate.
