Recreation Assistant (Facilities Operator) NF 02
Summary The FMWRC mission is to create and maintain "FIRST CHOICE" MWR products and services for America's Army, essential to a ready, self-reliant force. This position is located at JBLM MWR Sports, Fitness, and Aquatics Program. Responsibilities Opens and/or closes facilities by locking/unlocking doors and windows, and assuring security system is operable. Issues/receives recreational equipment to authorized users, collects applicable fees for items issued. Pre-checks and prepares equipment for customers, explains use, and monitors proper usage. Cleans recreation equipment, supplies and facility area, operates equipment and performs self-help maintenance on facilities and equipment, performs general housekeeping to make facilities/playing fields/pools/outdoor courts ready for use. Prepares requirement lists for supplies and equipment due to demand or need for replacement items, monitors inventories and number and condition of items on hand. Coordinates with program staff to ensure adequate equipment is available in sufficient time to conduct program activities, inspects equipment when turned in and collects pre-set fees for damages. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Minimum Requirements 1. Demonstrated ability to perform the duties described above. 2. Must have and retain a valid driver's license. PCS Costs Payment Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs are not authorized, based on a determination that a PCS move is not in the Government's interest. Pay-Band (NF or CY) Allowances and Differentials This is a pay-banded position. Sunday premium pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. If authorized, only regular (full-time, part-time, limited tenure and seasonal) employees may be paid Sunday premium pay. When authorized, Sunday premium will be paid at the rate of 25% of the basic rate for all hours of non-overtime, when any part of the scheduled tour of duty is performed on Sunday (to a maximum of 8 hours per Sunday). Night differential may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. Non-Foreign Overseas Allowances Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will not be paid, contingent upon eligibility.
