Duties and Responsibilities
+ Maintain and organize files/records.
+ Handle customer service inquiries, prepare daily membership registrations and deposit transactions.
+ Prepare correspondences and generate reports.
+ Update and maintain databases, and research data.
+ Clean restrooms, locker rooms, and general maintenance within the facility on a daily basis.
+ Process invoices and deposits.
+ Proficient in RecTrac.
+ Other duties as assigned.
Education, Experience, Licensing
Minimum Requirements:
+ Requires any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school or GED and one year of related experience with high-level clerical and/or technical duties such as filing, operating office equipment, customer inquiries, preparing correspondences, maintaining databases, and generating reports.
+ Possession of a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record is required.
+ First Aid and CPR Training required within 6 months of hire date or employment will end.
Preferred Requirements
+ One year of experience in parks and recreation.
+ Six months of experience working with large groups of children.
+ Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.
Supplemental Information
+ Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment, managing over 30 transactions per hour.
+ Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with the public and colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
+ Proficiency with computers and software programs (Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher; Canva and RecTrac are preferred).
+ Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle customer concerns with professionalism and courtesy.
+ Basic math skills and experience with cashier-type transactions (credit card, checks, refunds, deposits).
+ Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. and perform physical tasks such as setting up and breaking down events, cleaning, and working outdoors.
The workdays and hours will vary to include early mornings, weekends, late evenings, and holidays. Daily work shifts could start at 6:45 am and end at 9:00 pm.
