We are looking for a Recruiter in Tokyo to join our Asia Pacific talent acquisition team. You will be instrumental in growing the go-to-market functions in Japan, as well as other countries within the region as we expand our business. 

We require this role to work under a hybrid policy, meaning three days per week in office. Because of this you will need to be based within commuting distance of our Tokyo office, located at Yaesu Central Tower, Tokyo Station.

AS A RECRUITER AT SNOWFLAKE YOU WILL:

Own full lifecycle recruiting and be a consultative business partner to your hiring teams 

Recruit in a fast-paced, competitive and high-growth sales environment 

Be able to conduct talent analysis and develop recruiting strategies that include sourcing, candidate engagement/advisement, and offer closing

Be client-focused and committed to continuous improvement

Proactively network and establish effective working relationships, continually seek new sourcing options and develop creative approaches to delivering candidates to hiring managers

Possess strong analytical skills with the ability to create, measure, and scale the right workflow between candidates, hiring managers, and the recruiting team

Build and utilize a variety of sourcing plans and tools, including proactive phone/video conferencing, in person networking, and internet research

Be self-sufficient and able to work independently 

Be a champion of our mission and culture to the market

OUR IDEAL RECRUITER WILL HAVE:

5+ years of experience with full-lifecycle sales or technical recruiting 

Experience in-house recruiting or agency-side

Command of leveraging social media and other online and innovative methods to build the company’s talent brand and attract passive candidates

A strong track record of directly sourcing candidates

Excitement to roll up your sleeves and contribute to all parts of Snowflake’s recruiting process including events, hiring drives, usage of jobs boards, in-person networking and industry presence

A strong track record of closing candidates 

Fluency in both English and Japanese languages

BONUS POINTS FOR EXPERIENCE WITH THE FOLLOWING:

Diversity hiring, sourcing, or diversity focused events experience

Experience hiring manager/ senior manager level positions

Additional languages such as Korean or Chinese
