The ideal candidate will have experience in recruitment or human resources, along with deep knowledge of the screening, interviewing, and hiring processes. We’re seeking someone who’s passionate about discovering untapped talent, driving company growth, and helping people develop successful careers.In this role you will join a talented team of collaborative Human Resources professionals that are dedicated to improving the employee experience at Sargent & Lundy. Responsibilities will likely include, but not be limited to the following: + Develop relationships with managers to build awareness of their departments, hiring needs, and job specifications + Write and post job descriptions on relevant platforms + Utilize knowledge of multiple recruiting sources and execute innovative strategies to find quality candidates and prospect for new business + Screen resumes and CVs and manage job candidates throughout hiring process, from interview preparation to final-offer negotiation + Maintain database of candidate records, including active and passive prospects, hired and fired employees, and other designations This position offers a hybrid schedule with the expectation of 3 days per week in the office, and the remainder remote / virtual. Qualifications We do not sponsor employees for work authorization in the U.S. for this position. Required skills and experience: + Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Management with a major/concentration in Human Resources or a related field + 2 or more years of experience as a recuiter + Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills + Advanced knowledge of productivity software, database management, and internet search methods + Proven success in conducting interviews using various methods (phone, video, email, in-person) + Familiarity with internet sourcing skills, such as Boolean search, and experience with some of the following: LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, or other job boards. + Function effectively in a fast-paced recruiting environment + Willing to travel and work occasional overtime Valued but not required skills and experience: + Experience at a consulting, professional services, or architecture / engineering firm, or staffing firm + Experience working with iCIMS + HR Certifications Sargent & Lundy is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
