GENERAL DESCRIPTION / PRIMARY PURPOSE:

The Recruiter will partner with hiring managers to anticipate and meet the evolving needs of the
Dole Fresh Vegetable departments and to deliver well-matched and high talent employees. 

 

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS/DUTIES OF THE POSITION:

• Implement strategic initiatives for recruiting diverse talent in a multi-site organization. • Implement and follow DFV’s established full cycle recruiting process to meet the various staffing goals. • Create and implement strategies to attract passive job seekers. • Work with hiring managers and interview teams to ensure job requirements and expectations are clearly understood and candidates are assessed against appropriate criteria. • Implement DFV’s established interview processes and ensure hiring managers and interview teams are leveraging best-practice behavioral and situational questions to uncover evidence of skills, fit, track record, and motivators – all required to predict success. • Review and evaluate candidate’s work history, education, training and other qualifications. • Develop strong relationships and partner with hiring manager, business leaders and HR. • Work closely with Hiring Managers to maximize effectiveness of recruiting process. • Track and report key metrics designed to measure and predict staffing activity. • Regular follow up communication with the respective hiring managers and candidates to ensure timeliness of recruitment process. • Actively participate in all staffing related activities and engage in cross functional projects. • Assist with the development and maintenance of career opportunities section various job boards. • Adheres to all federal, state and local regulations governing the employment process; keeps applicant files in good order for applicant tracking purposes. • Develop and execute a personal time management plan. • Other HR related duties, including implementation of employee-related events, as assigned.
