Recruiter Department:PI-HR Recruiting & Staffing Location:Carlsbad, NM Be part of the nation-s only repository for the disposal of nuclear waste known as Transuranic (TRU) waste. Salado Isolation Mining Contractors, managing and operating contractor of the Waste Isolation Pilot Plant (WIPP) is currently seeking a qualified individual to serve as aRecruiterto join our team located in Carlsbad, NM. The successful candidate will assume responsibility for limited scope of human resources programs and activities in accordance with established procedures. Includes planning, organizing, executing and interpreting a variety of basic Human Resources policies, federal and state regulations, and similar documentation to prepare routine procedures, reports, programs, and correspondence. Will perform duties with a primary emphasis in recruiting and staffing. Assist Staffing Manager and hiring managers in the preparation of requisitions. Advertise and track both internal and external job opportunities through the company's on-line tracking databases and other job boards. Conduct evaluation of applicant qualifications and the selection of candidates for further consideration. Coordinate and schedule interviews with multiple managers, and assist with coordinating travel arrangements. Advise managers on proper disposition of candidates, extend verbal job offers, and schedule new hire on boarding dates. Interaction with multiple levels of management, outside agencies, and applicants is critical to the position. Outreach activities will be required to include some travel. This position is not a telework nor remote work position, and will be located at the WIPP Site. Exempt Grade Levels (26-28) Minimum Requirements:Theserequirementsmust be met to be considered for this posting. Uploaded resumes and applications are the means of determination. + Bachelor-s degree, or + Associate's degree with four (4) years of professional experience, or + High School Diploma or Equivalency with eight (8) years of professional experience is required. + Some customer service experience and demonstrated proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite is required. Must be at least 18 years of age; U.S. citizenship is required except in limited circumstances. See DOE Order 472.2 for additional information. Higher education attainment than listed acceptable per internal level identifiers of accompanying years of experience. Preferred Requirements: + Experience using HR information systems and/or applicant tracking systems, recruiting, and applicant screening. + Previous WIPP experience. + Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
