The Recruiter will support Heartland Food Products Group’s rapid growth by collaborating with Hiring Managers to provide full cycle recruiting support to meet the needs of the organization in a timely manner. They will be responsible for candidate sourcing, phone screens, assessments, onsite interviews and assisting with on-boarding.


Essential Duties and Key Responsibilities:


Focus on recruitment in the areas of Plant Operations, Maintenance, and QualitySourcing of passive candidates through online recruiting tools and social media as well as candidate management through the Heartland Food Products Group Careers portalSchedule and conduct phone screens and onsite interviewsAssist with the on-boarding process and administrative functions related to HR and recruiting functions as neededManagement of open requisitions as assignedAssist with the on-boarding process and administrative functions related to HR and recruiting functions as neededAttend recruiting events when necessaryAll other duties as assigned



Qualifications:


Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field is requiredA minimum of 3 years of recruiting experienceMultiple years of demonstrated success in developing and deploying recruiting strategies for hard to fill technical rolesDemonstrated experience using resume databases, internet search tools and social networking to find and attract top talent.Experience working in a food production environment highly preferredKnowledge of ATS systems, preferably ADPStrong foundation and understanding of direct candidate sourcing, with proven ability to develop and implement effective sourcing strategiesAbility to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment, excellent collaboration and relationship building skillsStrong work ethic demonstrated by sense of urgency, flexibility and accuracyExcellent communication and presentation skills, both oral and written

Must be able to physically perform daily functions as neededMust be able to work seated using a computer and phone for long periods of time

Must be able to work extended hours as needed

Must possess visual acuity to document company recordsContinuous walking throughout plant and distribution centerLifting up to 40 pounds
