The candidate hired to join this property will be key to the future success of the resort. After all, if a resort doesn't hire the right people to serve the guest, having the most beautiful buildings doesn't matter. Therefore, it falls upon the resort Recruiting team to attract and drive the hire of the best available talent on the market. The Recruiter will do this through numerous sources including career opportunity advertising (newspaper and internet), community networking, job fairs, colleges and high schools, associate referrals, and job postings. It will be the primary responsibility to identify all openings on property and drive the activity to fill those openings. On a daily basis, they will review applications, interview and submit to line managers a recommendation of appropriate talent.

Essential Functions:

Lead the recruiting and hiring strategies for Nemacolin resort for hourly job opportunities on property. Develop a sourcing strategy in order to attract the most qualified candidates for each position. Utilize the Applicant Tracking System in order to post all open positions, review applications, and update candidate and job statuses on a daily basis. Consult with department leaders in order to assess current and future staffing needs, and develop strategies to better source and select qualified candidates. Review applicants to determine the most qualified candidates by being an expert at each position and knowing what job skills are required for the position, as well as taking into consideration company culture. Conducting interviews of applicants by using skilled interviewing techniques in order to identify the most qualified candidate for the position Provide job offers to the most qualified candidates for each position. Assist with onboarding of all new associates, schedule and notify of orientation.

Accountabilities:

Accountable for the consistent progress in filling open positions through external and internal sources. Constantly interviewing interested applicants, driving applicants in the door, maintaining a pool of qualified candidates.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred. Minimum of 1 year of experience in a high production full cycle recruiting role, including revisions of job descriptions, posting positions, sourcing of applicants, interviewing, recommendations for hire, and job offers preferred. Knowledge of employment laws relative to hiring practices and interviewing techniques. Ability to travel. Flexible working hours to include long days, weekends, and some holidays. Ability to work rotating Saturday is required. Must be at least 18 years of age.
