Job Description:
The Recruiter will collaborate with hiring managers on a regular basis and proactively identify future hiring needs. You should also be able to attract candidates using various sources, like social media networks and employee referrals. Ultimately, the responsibilities of the Recruiter is to ensure our company attracts, hires and retains the best employees, while growing a strong talent pipeline.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Facilitate the employment process from internal job postings to external recruitment, ensuring consistency and compliance with corporate employment processes. Manage the applicant screening process by reviewing applications and resumes and conducting phone interviews to identify top candidates for open positions. Work closely with Human Resources and Hiring Managers to effectively move candidates through the process and efficiently close openings. Administer the formal job offer process. Develop and maintain quality relationships with all parties involved in the recruitment process, including but not limited to Hiring Managers and Human Resources. Ensure compliance with all federal and state laws and regulations, including Affirmative Action. Maintain an accurate system of record in the Application Tracking System (ATS). Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process. Promote the company’s reputation as “the best place to work.” Engage and participate in industry community events and activities that connect to and support the mutual well-being of Engineered Floors, our employees, and the community. Provide assistance for applicants who need help with the on-line application process and new hire packet. Assist with other duties as requested.

Minimum Qualifications & Requirements:

Must be a high school graduate or equivalent Previous experience with recruitment, employment, and hiring. Proficient in computer, typing, and related skills and abilities. Must be fluent in English and Spanish, both written and oral. Effective and professional written and verbal communication skills and abilities. Proven dependability and good attendance. Must be able to handle and manage confidential and protected information. Ability to interact effectively with others, including co-workers, applicants, and management. Willingness to cover other positions within the employment group and handle other job assignments as needed. Ability to work overtime including an occasional weekend.
