Overview As a Recruiter, you will collaborate closely with Hiring Managers to proactively address the dynamic staffing needs of the company and attract top-tier talent. Your role involves fostering relationships with potential candidates, ensuring a seamless recruitment process, and enjoying the journey along the way. Responsibilities Recruiting Achieve staffing goals by evaluating and recruiting job candidates, and providing strategic advice to managers. Cultivate a strong and diverse talent pool comprising both active and passive candidates. Manage a high-volume requisition load (30+) while maintaining effective communication with all hiring managers. Attract applicants through strategic job advertisements, leveraging newsgroups, and utilizing job sites. Assess applicant qualifications through interviews, reference checks, and alignment with job requirements. Enhance organizational appeal by recommending innovative policies, monitoring job offers, and emphasizing benefits and perks. Mitigate legal risks by staying abreast of current legislation, ensuring compliance, and conducting relevant training. Participate in job fairs, community events, and recruitment-related activities to represent and promote the organization. Coordinating Post open requisitions as directed by hiring managers. Efficiently schedule and manage interview logistics across Gates Hudson corporate and field locations. Track candidate activity and generate reports using the Applicant Tracking System (ATS). Provide administrative support, including processing emails, scheduling interviews, and coordinating in-person and video interviews. Onboarding Oversee the complete onboarding process, including verbal offers, offer letters, background checks, and distributing onboarding paperwork. Provide administrative support throughout the full recruitment and onboarding lifecycle, from requisition to new-hire status. Ensure the accuracy of new hire information, submit to HR for processing, and follow up to verify completion of candidate information. Support new hire and onboarding processes, including scheduling and communication with the department. Perform various tasks to support the HR team and daily responsibilities. Qualifications Qualifications: 2-4 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, encompassing mid-level sourcing, market mapping, candidate identification, outreach, and development. Familiarity with state and federal laws related to recruitment and hiring processes (EEOC, FLSA, ADA, DC Wage Theft Protection Act). Ability to passionately communicate the company's narrative, addressing job seekers' motivations, career goals, and interests. Proven skills in closing and negotiation, with effective judgment in ambiguous circumstances. Experience with iCIMs or similar full-cycle, complex Applicant Tracking Systems. Intermediate proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, internet, and social networking. Capability to multitask in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while managing multiple priorities and requisitions. Strong influencing and partnership skills with hiring managers and key stakeholders in the recruiting process.
