Job Description

We are hiring for an on-site recruiter to support our manufacturing requisitions. This is a high volume position that will support 10+ requisitions a week. Our location in Jacksonville, IL specializes in producing and manufacturing plastics/slide lock bags.

ResponsibilitiesSource, screen, and interview candidates for picker/packer and forklift driver positions.Utilize various recruiting methods including job boards, social media, employee referrals, and local career fairs to attract top talent.Conduct initial phone screens and in-person interviews to assess candidates' qualifications and cultural fit.Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from job posting to onboarding.Maintain and update the applicant tracking system (ATS) with candidate information and progress.Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.Coordinate and conduct hiring events, job fairs, and open houses to attract potential candidates.Support plant tours for prospective candidates.Ensure a positive candidate experience by providing timely and constructive feedback.Monitor and analyze recruitment metrics to identify areas for improvement.Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in recruitment and talent acquisition.Essential SkillsRecruitingTalent acquisitionRecruitmentFull cycle recruitingATSCustomer serviceScheduling coordinatingAdministrative supportAdditional Skills & QualificationsProven experience as a high-volume recruiter, preferably in a manufacturing or logistics environment.Familiarity with recruiting for picker/packer and forklift driver roles.Strong understanding of recruiting methods and tools.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruiting software.Strong organizational and time-management skills.Ability to build and maintain relationships with candidates and hiring managers.Work Environment

Our facility uses ICIMS for our ATS and typically posts openings to Indeed. This role involves working in a dynamic and fast-paced manufacturing environment. Dress code is casual and safety protocols must be followed when conducting plant tours or onsite events.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $40.00/hr.
