We are seeking an experienced Recruiter to join our office in Amsterdam.
Job Overview:
The recruiter is responsible for attracting and recruiting junior talent into both the Core Consulting as well as our INNOPAY specialist consulting track, through strategic initiatives across the Netherlands and European universities.
The primary focus is on entry-level recruitment and a smaller focus on experienced hires based on business needs. The role involves strategic initiatives to build a diverse candidate pool and enhance the company’s employer brand in the market.
Responsibilities include full strategic and operational oversight of the recruiting process in the Netherlands including organising and attending recruiting events, organising assessment days and ensuring high quality candidate management throughout the process.
Key Responsibilities:
Employer Branding:
Develop and implement innovative branding strategies and events to increase Oliver Wyman and INNOPAY’s visibility at target universities, students’ association and high calibre prospects.
Manage and create new relationships with target school/ students’ association for effective campus representation.
Work with local leadership, management and marketing on employer branding, including managing partnerships with universities, accessing talent, and educating candidates on the different value propositions available to them
Entry level and Experienced Hire Recruitment:
Source candidates using various channels including direct sourcing and referrals.
Define skill sets and screening criteria, ensuring consistency across the hiring process.
Coordinate feedback and offer processes, maintaining hiring standards.
Work with Talent Management, Learning and Development and HR Operations for successful staff integration.
Assessment & Selection Administration:
Process applications and coordinate interviews, managing communication with candidates and internal teams.
Co-host interview days, manage the calibration process, and oversee interview documentation and scheduling.
Monitor interviewer availability and manage any cancellations.
Ensure timely processing of candidate expenses.
Continuously innovate the recruitment process, gathering regular feedback from candidates and interviewers, identifying trends and ensuring a smooth candidate experience to attract talent
Act as an ambassador for our inclusion, diversity and belonging strategy throughout the hiring process
Candidate Management:
Address candidate queries, deliver feedback, and lead the offer process, nurture the relationship with prospects and any candidates who received an offer, assisting with the selling process in addition to answering any queries they may have
Maintain recruitment systems and databases to ensure information accuracy.
Stakeholder Management:
Collaborate with partners and consultants to ensure that recruitment processes as well the event design and execution run smoothly, and business needs are met.
Own and drive all local recruiting initiatives relating to INNOPAY and Core Consulting Group. Have oversight of recruiting initiatives in Netherlands relating to other group and act as a quarterback for all initiatives impacting the Oliver Wyman employer brand in the Netherlands
Participate in team meetings and regional recruitment projects.
Onboarding Administration:
Support the offer process, gather necessary candidate information, and ensure compliance with pre-joining processes.
Experience and Skills Required:
5+ years of experience in entry-level recruitment, ideally in professional services or management consulting.
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
Fluency in Dutch and English.
Full-cycle recruiting experience with a successful track record in creating diverse pipelines is desirable.
Proficiency in Applicant Tracking Systems (Workday preferred) and strong Microsoft Office skills.
Excellent communication skills, proactive problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.
Ability to manage heavy workloads in a fast-paced environment, working independently and as part of an international team.
Good interpersonal and analytical skills.
High energy, creativity, initiative-taking, and a strong service focus.
Methodical, organized, with excellent attention to detail and accuracy with ability to maintain and respect confidentiality.
