Recruiter - Manufacturing Operations

Our Recruiter, Manufacturing Operations is responsible for full life-cycle recruiting; recruit, screen and recommended placement of staff by using creative sourcing methods (internal and external). This position must possess considerable skill in sourcing, interviewing, and selection techniques as well as an extensive knowledge of federal and state laws regarding employment practices. 

Use traditional and non-traditional methods to identify and attract quality candidates such as career job fairs, social media networks, community network events, etc. to ensure high visibility with potential candidates. Proactively source candidates using Indeed searching to uncover talent and place them within the organization. Screen resumes, interview candidates (by phone, skype or in person), administer appropriate preemployment assessments as well as reference/background/drug screenings and make recommendations for hire and deliver employment offers. Communicate important employment information during delivery of employment offers (i.e. benefits, compensation, non-competition agreements, etc.). Develop and maintain relationships with temporary agencies and search firms as necessary to ensure achievement of staffing goals. Provide accurate and regular reporting of recruiting activities. Maintain all pertinent applicant and interview data in the HRIS. Conduct regular follow-up with managers to determine effectiveness of recruiting efforts.  Participate/attend in trade school recruiting initiatives. Process acceptance and rejection letters. Promote our organization as an “Employer of Choice” within our industry. Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications

A minimum of 5+ years of recruiting experience is required, ideally in a high volume recruitment environment. Bilingual, Spanish/English is strongly preferred. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
