Recruiting/Compliance Coordinator

Summary

Perdue Transportation is seeking an organized, detail-oriented, and high energy Recruiting Coordinator to join our team in Salisbury, MD.  The coordinator will be responsible for administering our Social Media Recruitment campaigns across various platforms.  They will work closely with the Recruitment team to enhance the candidate experience including interview scheduling, drug screens, background checks and other pre-employment screens as needed, as well as provide administrative and clerical support for the driver training, and associate relations manager and the transportation department.  This position works closely with Fleet Safety to ensure Federal DOT compliance including pre-employment, current Company Drivers, and previous Associates. 

Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities Coordinate and maintain Transportations’ weekly and monthly social media job postings including candidate management and invoice management across platforms such as Facebook, Indeed, etc. Work with recruiting teams to attract new applicants within these platforms. Assist in creating a best-in-class candidate experience during the full life-cycle recruitment process including interview scheduling, candidate travel, offer letter development, background checks, drug screens, etc.  Process new Relocation candidate requests within our Relocation system, and in conjunction with our third-party vendor, and support candidates during the process. Assist with various position data requests as it relates to new hire orientations, promotions and transfers related to Talent Acquisition Provide recruiting reporting as requested by Complex HR Manager and Operations Team Complete previous DOT employment verification requests.  Coordinate and execute career fair scheduling and logistics including sign up, ordering supplies and prepping attendees. Maintain Driver Qualification folder requirements in accordance to DOT and Fleet Safety expectations.  Assist Fleet Safety with DOT compliance for Company Drivers i.e. physical, license and completed documents in Datasense.  Assist Operations / HR with Brand awareness in different driver / fleet maintenance markets Provide administrative and clerical support for the driver training, safety compliance, & associate relations manager and the transportation department. Maintain driver safety & compliance files. Support and coordinate all driver orientations & trainings: materials, travel, meals, etc. Establish and maintain correspondence with driver and internal and external customers. Update and maintain Drive4Perdue.com for applicant and current Associates.  Administer Driver and Leadership uniform and boot purchasing.  Track and manager Ride Along process and forms.  Assist with event planning and events as requested.  Perform other duties as required.

 

Education

REQUIRED:  

High School Degree or equivalent 

PREFERRED:  

Bachelor’s Degree in related field Experience 2+ years of HR/Recruiting.  Experience with posting jobs and familiarity with various Social Media Platforms including Facebook, Instagram, and Snapchat. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (written and verbal) with the ability to interact with various levels of personnel with tact and diplomacy. Strong computer skills including proficiency in Excel, Work, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Highly detail-oriented and able to follow up in a timely manner and prioritize in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency. Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality. Desire to learn and take additional trainings as needed for Social Media Recruitment. Decision making responsibilities

The Recruiting/Compliance Coordinator will need to make decisions based on company policy and process as it relates to job postings and maintain OFCCP compliance.

Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements

Position is mostly sedentary but may require occasional moving to other offices or buildings.  May need to move light equipment or supplies from one place to another. May need to access files, supplies and equipment.
May be exposed to temperatures of 28 degrees to 100 degrees Fahrenheit with both ambient and 100% humidity.  
Must wear and use protective and safety equipment required for the job as directed by the Company.
