POSITION SUMMARY:
We are looking for a detail oriented, highly organized team player with strong interpersonal skills to support the recruitment process through coordinating recruitment activities, managing candidate communications, and ensuring an exceptional experience for both hiring managers and applicants.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS INCLUDE:
Support the full recruitment life cycle, from candidate sourcing to onboarding.Consult with managers to discover staff requirements and specific job objectives.Write and post job descriptions on career websites, newspapers and universities boards.Source candidates by using databases and social media.Build and maintain an engaged interviewer pool to support hiring needs (and support other groups as needed).Evaluate and screen resumes and cover letters.Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers, ensuring all logistics are handled efficiently including scheduling, arranging travel, and securing meeting spaces.Address scheduling issues promptly and effectively.Send interview confirmations, follow-up emails, and feedback.Assist with the evaluation of candidates during interviews, collecting feedback from hiring managers, and compiling candidate information for decision-making.Manage offer letters, background checks, employment agreements, and other pre-boarding tasks.Prepare new hire paperwork ensuring legislation requirements are met.Maintain a complete record of interviews and new hires.Develop and implement effective solutions to HR-related issues, working closely with management to identify and address problems.Lead logistics for recruiting events, both internal and external.Prepare, analyze, and present marketing materials and reports for stakeholders, while representing the firm at recruiting events.Stay up to date with current recruiting methods.Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations, reviewing and updating policies and procedures as needed.Other duties as assigned.Travel maybe required depending on the location. If you sit in Chattanooga, TN you will have to travel to Fort Payne, AL weekly.JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field preferred.Minimum 2 years work experience in talent acquisition or recruiting coordination is preferred.Familiarity with HR databases, applicant tracking systems and candidate management systems.Strong analytical experience required.Personal computer experience with a high degree of proficiency in Excel spreadsheets and Windows is required.Strong organizational and administrative skills required.Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with a customer service-oriented approach.Works with a minimum amount of guidance and supervision.Exercises moderate degree of judgment.
