What You'll Do
As a Recruiting Coordinator / Recruiting Senior Coordinator for our Bogotá and Spanish-Speaking Americas (SSA) Recruiting Team, you will be responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle to attract and hire top junior consulting talent for BCG’s Bogotá office. You’ll develop sourcing strategies, engage with local talent pools, and ensure an exceptional candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
You’ll coordinate each stage of the candidate journey, from reviewing applications and scheduling interviews to managing offers and conversions. Your role will involve close collaboration with the Bogotá Recruiting MDP, Recruiting Director and SSA team, ensuring alignment on recruiting needs and strategy.
Additionally, you will serve as a trusted advisor, offering insights and suggestions to enhance recruiting processes and drive improvements in the candidate experience. Reporting directly to the SSA Recruiting Lead, you’ll play a key role in executing recruiting strategies that align with BCG’s goals in the region
YOU'RE GOOD AT
· Manage key stakeholder relationships as a trusted partner and valued advisor, building a deep understanding of their business, function knowledge and/or technical skills, role requirements and desired candidate profiles
· Identify high quality candidates through the proactive sourcing of active and passive candidates via direct channels, job postings, social media, talent mapping, networking & other innovative sourcing techniques
· Manage the Campus recruiting activities, building relationships with universities and organizing events
· Manage recruitment campaigns for any volume hiring needs or brand building events
· Utilize the applicant tracking system to actively track, manage and report on candidate pipelines to enhance stakeholder communication and ensure effective process management
· Articulation of the global talent brand and candidate value proposition to the region and subsequent promotion to the appropriate talent markets in each country
· Support the regional recruitment strategy by contributing to and implementing regional initiatives to global projects; locally identify and implement improvements creatively
· Manage the candidate experience through efficient process management and supporting interview scheduling
· Make independent decisions with minimum guidance, coordinate and push internal initiatives, processes, projects, with guidance where needed, form internal networks
· Review key metrics and performance measures for own processes such as time to hire, cost per hire and quality of hire, and make recommendations for enhancements wherever possible
· Ensure global best practices are embedded in local processes to drive operational effectiveness through process improvements
· You’re flexible and dependable and keep a cool head even in difficult situations.
· You have a strong sense of responsibility and absolute integrity.
What You'll Bring
· You have a Bachelor’s degree; advanced degree is a plus
· 3+ years of relevant professional experience ideally in recruiting, HR or other process-oriented areas, preferably in a dynamic, service-oriented environment
· You’re extremely process oriented, organized and with strong attention to detail
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and strong team player mindset
· Self-motivated, takes initiative, possesses creative problem-solving skills and willingness to offer suggestions for improvement; builds relationships to leverage resource
· Ideally, you already have some conceptual or project-related work experience or a background in consulting
· You’re able to work proficiently with the software in the MS Office package, especially Excel and PowerPoint
· You have excellent written and spoken Spanish and English language skills
