Summary
The Recruiting Generalist is responsible for the hiring of non-technician roles as well as back-office staff positions. This includes overseeing the job requisition process, making offers, conducting background checks and drug screens, communicating with hiring managers, and ensuring that all reports are complete and accurate.
Responsibilities
Review and manage all job requisitions by ensuring hiring managers’ needs are accurately reflected and all requisition requirements have been fulfilledProcess all employee promotions and demotionsReview and prepare candidate assessment results for hiring teams and coordinate reviews as necessaryProvide timely and accurate follow-up with hiring managers and candidatesProcess new hire offers ensuring compensation, work location, and other key details are correctly reflectedPartner cross-functionally with hiring team and HR members to coordinate day 1 setup and orientationConduct pre-employment background checks and drug screens and follow up with candidates on results when necessaryProvide onboarding support, ensure onboarding packets are completed, and ensure compliance with USCIS Form I-9Partner with 3rd party relocation firm and other affected parties to coordinate all relocations and manage invoicingWork on process improvements, SOPs, and various value-added projects that touch all areas of USICRequirements
Bachelor’s degree requiredHR certification preferred3+ years’ experience in human resources, with a focus on hiring, onboarding, customer service, and compliance requiredExcellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate at all levels across an organizationStrong self-motivation and demonstrated ability to identify, initiate, and enact new processes and process improvementsStrong attention to detail; demonstrated skills with note-taking and record-keepingAbility to multi-task and prioritize; adept at handling multiple assignments and meeting deadlines through strong organizational skillsAbility to thrive and remain flexible in a fast-paced, ever-changing, high-pressure environment while navigating a multi-site, decentralized organizationProficient in using core MS Office Suite products and experience with using HRIS/HRM systems (Workday preferred)We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
