SET THE COURSE

The Recruiting Specialist will help recruit, interview and assist with developing sourcing strategies and candidate pipeline for Tommy Bahama corporate, retail and restaurants. Source candidates using advanced search techniques and identify high quality talent for current and future positions. Build relationships with managers in specific locations/regions to provide them with job posting resources and candidate generation opportunities. Support overall recruiting team and serve as back-up recruiting coordinator, which is responsible for and has ownership of recruiting related processes, new hire orientation and procedures. 

BE THE ISLAND GUIDE

Review resumes and applications to assess qualifications and suitability for open positions for corporate, retail and restaurant positions.Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers.Help develop comprehensive sourcing strategies and conduct external candidate searches for Tommy Bahama retail/restaurant locations across the United States and Canada. Assist in posting positions for assigned requisitions, as needed.Select staffing agencies when needed for corporate, retail, restaurant and manage the candidates submitted by agencies.Maintain knowledge of current recruitment market, trends, and competitors.Use Applicant Tracking system to manage candidates throughout the recruitment and hiring process.Must maintain knowledge of industry HR practices and legal employment considerations and can apply that knowledge to the Recruitment Team as appropriate.Partner with Director of Talent Acquisition for training with Field Leadership on recruitment practices and procedures.Act as additional recruiting coordinator to the team when coordinator is unavailable. Manage orientation, answering field questions about the hiring process and use of the ATS, scheduling interviews, conducting background checks, reference checking, re-location, invoice tracking and managing candidate flow, and inquires.  Maintain close partnership with both university and industry recruiting teams to apply Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE& I) initiatives across the company.Assist with current and new employee relocations, as necessary.Perform ad hoc projects and assignments as needed to help support the overall business.

ESSENTIALS FOR LIFE IN PARADISE

High school diploma, Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred.Generally, 1+ years of corporate recruitment experience.Previous interviewing experience and knowledge of behavioral interviewing techniques preferred.Ability to use a variety of software, including Word, Outlook and Excel.Knowledge and experience with an applicant tracking system and processes.Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills including strong oral and written communication skills.Demonstrated presentation and training skills.Flexible and excited to learn and grow in all aspects of Human Resources.Self-starter who can work independently with a strong attention to detail balanced with excellent collaborative skills.Ability to manage conflicting priorities and work in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment.Ability to maintain confidential information.Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism.Strong scheduling/calendaring skills required.

Rate Range: $23.26 to $38.76 per hour. Multiple factors will vary the applicable rate of pay for this role, including an individual’s experience, knowledge, and skillset, as well as work location and available budget.
