Recruiting Specialist I

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
The primary focus of Murphy USA’s Recruiting Specialist is to provide a best-in-class experience for candidates, hiring managers and new employees. This role is responsible for all aspects of Murphy USA’s relocation and temporary housing program as well as event planning assistance for Talent Acquisition hosted events (both Corporate and Field). Administrative duties include booking candidate travel, interview scheduling, building tours and invoice and expense report processing. To be successful in this role a candidate must be organized, a natural collaborator and polished communicator with excellent attention to detail.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Facilitate a best-in-class candidate experience which consists of interacting with hiring managers and candidates, scheduling interviews, booking travel arrangements and reserving temporary housing.
2. Partner closely with Murphy USA's relocation vendor to ensure a successful and smooth transition for all relocating new hires.
3. Partner with Field leaders to support store-level staffing for hard-to-fill positions or locations.
4. Administer Murphy USA's corporate housing portfolio, including guest reservations (new hire, vendor, employee), payment of related expenses, contract management, and research and resolution of issues with property operations and maintenance teams.
5. Assist with planning Murphy USA recruiting events to include vendor contracts, hotel bookings, catering and travel.
6. Support communications with candidates and event attendees.
7. Partner with Learning & Development on new employee onboarding.
8. Process invoices, expense reports and payroll inputs.
9. Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty mentioned satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Broad knowledge of such fields as accounting, marketing, business administration, finance, etc. Equivalent to a four-year college degree, plus 2 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
