Essential Position Functions:
In partnership with campus HR Management, works with approved temporary agencies facilitating communication and the successful delivery of seasonal frontline labor. Participates in setting performance expectations and regular performance reviews with agencies. Develop both short-term and long-term recruitment strategies designed to adequately staff all facilities while achieving continuous improvement in community image and employee quality. Lead team efforts to seek out potential candidates through active/proactive sourcing of candidates. Oversee recruitment activities, job fair participation, evaluation of candidates and enhancing recruitment procedures. Measures, tracks, and reports on campus recruiting metrics weekly. Builds community relationships and markets Reser’s to attract and retain quality employees who are personally aligned with the culture and values of Reser’s. Partners with various creative sources of labor including unemployment office, schools, local networks and associations to generate a steady flow of labor. Works with General Managers, Human Resources and Marketing to brand the company image as an Employer of Choice and markets Reser’s uniqueness/favorable traits and opportunities for careers to potential employees and the community. Partners with HR to be a source of information that helps drive programs that support recruitment including but not limited to temp conversion, promotions, and employee referral programs. Regularly communicates creative solutions to recruiting challenges. Provides data, statistics and support for leadership and partners with leaders to advocate for solutions that meet the hiring demand. Provide guidance and constructive feedback to the recruitment team, set performance goals (KPI’s) by regularly reviewing progress against targets. Partners with HR and leadership on recruitment efforts to keep them involved and informed of key interviews, knowledgeable about the status and progress of the recruiting department and soliciting assisting in key recruiting events. Builds relationships with plant leadership and establishes mutual understanding, respect, expectations, and cooperation for the recruiting process.
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Bachelor’s degree preferred. 2+ years proven experience in high volume frontline recruitment required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Prior experience in manufacturing environment strongly preferred. Proficient with Microsoft Office products. Strong organizational and leadership skills. English/Spanish bilingual a plus.
Physical Demands and Working Conditions:
Office and manufacturing environment. May require work hours that exceed 40 in a week and/or evening or weekend scheduling to support recruitment events or other business needs.
This position is eligible for performance-based bonuses.
