Yes Job Summary The Division of Educational Ventures is seeking a Recruitment and Marketing Coordinator. This is a full-time (1.00 FTE ), 12-month, professional faculty position. The Division of Educational Ventures ( DEV ) is a growing, innovative, and collaborative organization with a commitment to providing high-quality online education. The division extends Oregon State University’s exceptional learning experiences including microcredentials, certificates, and degrees available to students throughout Oregon and around the world. The division includes Ecampus, offering over 100 online and hybrid degree programs; the Ecampus Research Unit ( ECRU ), conducting and supporting original research in online teaching and learning; the Corporate and Workforce Education Unit ( CWE ), creating pathways for learners employed by collaborators in business and government; the Center for the Outdoor Recreation Economy ( CORE ), providing workforce development for the outdoor recreation industry; the Open Educational Resources Unit ( OER ), aiding faculty in adopting open course materials; and the Alternative Credential Unit ( ACU ), developing short-form educational opportunities The recruitment and marketing coordinator plays a critical role in engaging prospective online students and guiding them through the recruitment and admissions process. As a member of the Ecampus enrollment services team and reporting to the Associate Director of Outreach and Recruitment, this position supports recruitment initiatives for online programs. The role focuses on relationship-building with prospective students through strategic outreach and recruitment efforts, leading virtual and in-person recruitment events and coordinating marketing activities in collaboration with the Director of Marketing. The position collaborates closely with internal and external partners, including marketing teams, corporate collaborators and the student success team, to meet recruitment goals. The recruitment and marketing coordinator will be asked to serve on project teams, review materials and help with onboarding of new programs and corporate collaborators, ensuring that the prospective student voice and perspective is represented. Additionally, this position will work with targeted audiences such as community colleges, military/veteran audiences and alumni to recruit new online students to OSU . Key Responsibilities Prospective Student Recruitment and Event Management (60%) + Serve as a primary point of high-touch outreach for recruitment of prospective online students, providing detailed information about program offerings, admissions requirements, and application processes. + Coordinate recruitment strategy and conduct full-funnel outreach via email, phone, text and individual appointments to support students from inquiry through completed application. + Utilize CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Slate) to track prospective student engagement via prospect scoring and utilize data to inform outreach efforts. + Support corporate-sponsored prospective students by providing program-specific guidance and high-touch outreach. + Lead the planning and execution of Ecampus virtual recruitment events in collaboration with the enrollment services team; create and deliver presentations tailored to prospective student and applicants’ needs and interests. + Represent Ecampus at virtual and in-person external recruitment events. + Conduct individual appointments and respond to inquiries through various communication channels (email, phone, text) in coordination with the enrollment services team, serving as regular back-up to the enrollment specialists. Marketing Project Coordination (20%) + Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate recruitment marketing projects, such as reviewing, updating and optimizing prospective student webpages and coordinating prospective student emails. + Develop informational content to be used in recruitment marketing tactics, presentations, and events. + Manage recruitment marketing initiatives for target audiences including military and Indigenous prospective students. + Ensure recruitment marketing assets align with university brand standards and address the needs of prospective online learners. + Manage recruitment marketing projects under the leadership of the Director of Marketing. Student Ambassador Team Management (15%) + Manage and supervise a team of student ambassadors, with different backgrounds and experiences, to support recruitment efforts. + Provide guidance, training and oversight to student ambassadors on best practices for engaging with prospective students. + Coordinate and schedule student ambassador involvement in recruitment events and outreach campaigns. + Monitor performance and provide feedback to ensure the ambassadors meet program goals and expectations. Professional Development and Service (5%) + Engage in professional development activities to maintain knowledge of best practices in higher education enrollment, admissions, recruitment and marketing. + Provides service to OSU and the land grant system by working on unit, division, university, regional and national committees and projects. What You Will Need + Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution. + Two years of professional experience in recruitment, admissions, or a related field. + Demonstrated ability to build relationships and provide exceptional customer service. + Excellent written and verbal communication skills and presentation skills. + Demonstrated ability to communicate in a manner that shows respect and inclusivity for all co-workers and internal customers. + Strong organizational and project management skills, including experience using project management software. What We Would Like You to Have + Experience working with adult learners or non-traditional students. + Proficiency in data tracking and management tools (e.g. CRM and other related tools). + Familiarity with higher education enrollment processes. + Event planning in a professional setting, with specific emphasis on virtual event planning and marketing. + Supervisory experience, especially in managing student teams or volunteers.
