Recruitment and Outreach Coordinator
The Recruitment and Outreach Coordinator will lead and expand outreach efforts, engaging high school and college students in healthcare career opportunities at MGMC. Responsibilities include promoting MGMC roles through presentations, pre-career fair events, and social media. This position will collaborate closely with internal HR and department leaders, using both traditional and innovative recruitment channels to meet organizational needs. The role is also responsible for tracking recruitment costs and event metrics as well as managing resources for recruitment events in preparing staff to represent MGMC at all career related events.
+ Increase student outreach via clubs, local groups, and student organizations at the high school and college level to promote and educate about healthcare careers
+ Collaborate with Student Experience Coordinator on outreach events and events hosted at MGMC to expand student outreach and educate on careers and applying for roles at MGMC
+ Present to clubs, local groups, and student organizations at the high school and college level relevant to MGMC related roles
+ Perform pre-career fair outreach, plan and host events to increase MGMC presence and participation on campus
+ Utilize social media as it relates to MGMC and recruitment to engage, educate, create awareness and knowledge
+ Provide and collect metrics to show value of career and recruitment events (ROI)
+ Prepare and educate all staff who represent MGMC at career events
+ Maintain registrations for career fairs and other events
+ Order and maintain inventory of items and materials for career related events as well as track associated costs.
+ Identify and coordinate traditional and non-traditional recruitment methods (job postings, social media platforms, CareerArc, Next Step, in person events, virtual events, apprenticeship programs, grant opportunities, etc)
+ Regularly collaborate with HR Business Partner’s to identify current and upcoming needs
+ Build and maintain positive working relationships with department leaders
+ Identifies opportunities to increase employer brand awareness.
+ Assists with collection/analysis of applicant and new hire surveys once new system is implemented.
+ Promotes and assists leaders and departments with identifying internship needs.
+ Utilize job boards, school job boards, and MGMC HRM system as necessary
+ Provides input, support, participation, and solutions on a variety of projects that occur within the Human Resources team.
+ Serves as a backup for the Student Experience Coordinator as needed.
Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in relevant area to the role, knowledge of recruitment strategies
Preferred Qualifications: Recruiting experience with an internship or post-graduation role, involvement in Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM)
