Job Description
THE SELECTED CANDIDATE WILL BE OFFERED A SALARY BETWEEN $67,000 - $85,000.
The Recruitment Assistance Coordinator in the Office of Foster Parent Recruitment and Support works as an essential member of the team to deliver foster parent recruitment and support using the Home Away from Home (HAFH) framework. HAFH is an initiative designed to support foster care providers' ability to strengthen and enhance their practice around recruiting, supporting, and retaining foster parents. Using a formal approach, technical assistance is provided based on the agencies’ performance and organizational structure.
Recruitment Assistance Coordinator:
- Effectively operate in a team and utilizes group and individual supervision to strengthen evaluation and quality improvement skills.
- Gather diverse perspectives on problem/cause(s) and solutions.
- Generate potential solutions based on problem solving.
- Provide and facilitate technical assistance sessions individually design to meet an agency’s specific needs and promote promising practices.
- Provide guidance, feedback, and suggested revisions for quality improvement, including clear expectations and timeframes for improvement, to providers and the Recruitment Assistant Coordinator participates in the development of agency-specific strategies and plans for improvement.
- Identifies provider needs for assistance and secures assistance to meet those need from within and outside ACS.
- Conduct qualitative and quantified data analysis to identify areas in need of improvement as it relates to meeting identified targets and other ACS expectations in areas such as increasing foster parent pool, OFOH and KIN rates, just to name a few.
- Interpret data results and their relationship to outcomes, strengths, and challenges.
- Identifies specific strengths and weaknesses through analysis of data and information collected from technical assistance coaching sessions, and anecdotal information from other ACS offices and key system participants.
- Reports, plans and/or letters developed for each provider agency accurately reflect technical assistance to be provided.
- Language clearly articulates ACS’s findings, identifying strengths and areas in need of improvement, regarding current performance. The tone of this communication is positive, engaging, and non-alienating.
- Update monthly monitoring tool and customize standardized PowerPoint presentation in preparation for technical assistance session plan with agency.
- Update system of record (Shared Drive).
- Actively participate in prep session and debrief etc.
- Ability to capture information and complete monthly summary tool based on TA sessions to help make assessment of agency performance and develop appropriate next steps.

Qualifications
1. A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and two years of experience in community work or community centered activities in an area related to the duties described above; or
2. High school graduation or equivalent and six years of experience in community work or community centered activities in an area related to the duties as described above; or
3. Education and/or experience which is equivalent to "1" or "2" above. However, all candidates must have at least one year of experience as described in "1" above.
