This is a permanent full-time, internal opportunity with Spherion.
Working hours will be Monday - Friday, 1st shift, and must be flexible to work 40-45 hours a week, coming in early or staying late as needed.
The Recruiter will report directly to the Branch Manager.
Responsibilities:
Perform searches and recruiting efforts for qualified candidates using computer databases, networking, internet recruiting resources, cold calls, media, and employee referrals.
Maintain communication with clients and associate employees to keep them updated.
Perform interviews with potential candidates and conduct all necessary background checks.
The position will also include employee check-ins at the client sites and follow-up without associate employees and our clients to ensure customer satisfaction.
Provide coaching and counseling to associate employees as needed to ensure job performance and job satisfaction.
Perform upselling of services offered or talent available to both current and prospect clients.
Document all applicant and client information accurately.
Perform 1st-day arrival calls, weekly employee quality calls, etc.
Assist in processing payroll and handle any related payroll issues
Adhere to company and local branch best practices and processes to achieve goals
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
1-2 years of recruiting experience, the staffing industry is a plus, but not required
Sales experience preferred
Bilingual in Spanish and English a plus
Education:
High School
Experience:
4-7 years
Qualifications:
Excellent Customer Service skills
Ability to work within multiple databases efficiently
Knowledge of Microsoft Windows programs (Word, Excel, Outlook)
High School diploma or GED
Valid driver's license, vehicle, and auto insurance required
