The Royal Caribbean Group’s Shipboard Talent Acquisition has an exciting career opportunity for a full time Senior Manager, Programs & Partnerships - Global Sourcing & Programs reporting to the Director of Global Sourcing.
This position will work on-site in Miami, Florida.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Senior Manager, Programs & Partnership is responsible for overseeing and driving the talent acquisition strategy, ensuring Royal Caribbean Group attracts, recruits, and retains top talent across all regions. This role involves managing a multinational team, optimizing recruitment processes, and aligning talent acquisition initiatives with the company's global objectives. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in international talent acquisition, strong leadership skills, and a strategic approach to global recruitment challenges.
The role supports the Director of Global Sourcing & Programming by managing all recruiting programs and key partnerships that maximize recruitment efforts. In this role, the Sr. Manager is a consultative thought partner, leveraging data-driven insights to align talent acquisition strategies with overall business objectives and tackle complex challenges, establishing innovative paths forward.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strategic Collaboration: Partner with Talent Acquisition leadership, data analysts, HR systems teams, and operational staff to deeply understand existing processes, pinpoint challenges, and develop effective recruitment strategies aligned with business goals. Global Recruitment Empowerment: Equip the global recruitment team with the necessary tools, resources, and strategies to attract, engage, and nurture top talent for Royal Caribbean. Data-Driven Optimization: Continuously evaluate the entire recruitment cycle, analyzing sourcing channel effectiveness, recruiter productivity, and candidate experience at each stage to identify areas for improvement. Needs Assessment & Solutions: Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify skill gaps and resource needs, making informed recommendations to enhance efficiency and streamline workflows. Process Monitoring & Communication: Actively monitor hiring processes, ensuring timely updates to improve internal communication and enhance the candidate experience. External Partnership: Collaborate with external stakeholders to maintain accurate and up-to-date job descriptions, listings, and other recruitment materials. Proactive Talent Solutions: Anticipate future talent needs and proactively develop solutions to address potential challenges. Reporting & Insights: Provide regular updates, detailed reports, and actionable insights on recruitment operations and performance to key stakeholders. Change Leadership: Drive change management initiatives that promote clarity, streamline processes, and foster continuous improvement to achieve hiring goals in a dynamic business landscape. Data-Driven Decision Making: Ensure that relevant data and insights are accessible to leadership, hiring managers, and stakeholders at the appropriate level and in a timely manner to facilitate informed decisions. Operational Excellence: Continuously identify opportunities to enhance and enrich all aspects of the talent acquisition process, focusing on improving overall efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage expenses and budget assigned for travel, audits and training initiatives.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in Human resources or related field from an accredited college or university or the international equivalent. Minimum of 10-12 years of experience in Human Resources or Program Management and minimum 5 years leadership role. Strong program and partnerships management skills and the ability to execute visions. Strong data analytic skill. The ability to analyze, model and interpret data to meet business objectives and desired outcome, reporting, and organizational skills. Must have extensive knowledge of operations methodologies, preferably in the HR and Recruitment fields. Ability to monitor industry trends and research global talent shortages are crucial for succeeding in this role. Proven leadership experience with a track record of managing and developing high-performing teams. Highly effective communication skills as a variety of levels, both verbal and written. Strong leadership presence to influence operational stakeholders, as a subject matter expert (SME) and business leader. Proven abilities in employee administration and in general business management.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS (preferred):
Knowledge of HR Compliance. Knowledge of general shipboard functions on a cruise ship preferred, along with the general concept of working with the shipboard organizational structures as well as large corporate settings. Knowledge of seafarer documentation and onboarding procedure, general shipboard functions on a cruise ship, along with the general concept of working with the shipboard organizational structures as well as large corporate settings. Working knowledge of computers, Internet access, and the ability to navigate within a variety of Microsoft software packages such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Knowledge of automated human resources systems preferred including JD Edwards &/OR PeopleSoft. Possesses the flexibility to manage, focus, direct and encourage a positive dynamic, diverse GR center operation by navigating through a changing work environment. Ability to travel internationally (up to 20%).
Work Environment:
The environment includes work inside/outside the office, travel to other offices, possibly travel domestic and international, and work in shipboard functions. A high noise level is possible if visiting shipboard or offsite locations.
