This is a fantastic opportunity for a Recruitment Resourcer to join us on a Fixed Term Contract of 6 months (potential to be extended) to work as part of an internal resourcing team. Reporting into the Resourcing Manager, you will play a crucial role by sourcing, screening, and engaging with potential candidates to build a strong pipeline of talent.

You will need great research skills, drive & energy. This would suit someone who has worked in an agency or with a high volume/ recruitment background.

Ideally you will be situated within commutable distance of our Regional Office located in Birmingham not far from Birmingham International Train Station.

What you will be doing:

Collaborate with our experienced recruiters to understand hiring managers requirements and job specifications. Build talent pools for frequent vacancies and to develop an understanding of internal succession and talent development. Ensuring direct recruitment is the primary object utilising all recruitment media and tools to increase the delivery of quality candidates. Identifying high calibre candidates for both the active and potential roles. Proactively utilise various sourcing techniques to search for & identify potential candidates, including via internal Candidate Tracking System (ATS), external databases and social media tools/online job boards and networking. Ensure all processes are maintained and followed with our ATS. Ensure compliance with Tilbury Douglas processes and standards to maintain consistent candidate experience. Ensuring equitable and prompt treatment of all candidates throughout the recruitment process, addressing scheduling, feedback, and enquiries, as well as providing updates to champion the candidate experience. Maintaining a high level of candidate engagement. Promoting the brand and all live roles across all our social media channels & job boards. Review resumes and applications, conduct initial phone screens to evaluate candidates' skills, qualifications, and cultural fit for specific roles. Qualify, shortlist and present suitable candidates against defined job vacancies or skills criteria. Assist in coordinating interviews and providing support throughout the recruitment process. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve our sourcing strategies. Ensure GDPR compliance by following Tilbury Douglas guidelines at all times.

What we need from you:

Previous experience in high volume recruitment or working within an agency. Confident communication and interpersonal skills across all levels. Exceptional organisational skills and multi-tasking skills. A proactive attitude and willingness to learn. Prior experience in recruitment or a related field. A good understanding of the candidate market and blue sky thinking. Ability to effectively assess candidates and good negotiation and influencing skills. Ability to multitask and manage a high volume of recruitment activities. Professional and approachable. Experience of working in a fast-paced recruitment team and be confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook). Social media posting and engagement experience. Motivation and driven to be provide the best recruitment and onboarding experience. Excellent relationship building skills. Commercial awareness. Ability to work autonomously whilst being integral part of the team. Attention to detail and consistent approach with focus on delivering results. Ability to work at pace to fulfil role objectives. Ability to deliver against recruitment KPI’s. Flexible approach to working hours.

If you are successful, you will be invited for an interview. There will be two stages of interview the first will be competency-based questions around the role via Teams and the second & final stage comprising of a presentation face to face at our regional Birmingham office.
