Adecco is assisting a local Waste Management facility, seeking **Recycling Sorter's** in **Portland, ME** . This is a temporary or temp-to-hire opportunity paying **$20 / HR** , plus the possibility of overtime! **Schedule** **– Monday – Friday – 6:00AM – 4:00PM** **Functions and Responsibilities:** + Sorting Recycled material – able to identify and remove waste from recyclable products + Maintain a high level of job safety + Flexible with schedule and hours worked + Other duties as assigned **Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:** + Able to give, take, and follow oral and written instruction + Able to communicate clearly, able to establish and maintain effective working relations + Able to participate in semi-skilled tasks – standing for an entire shift and lifting up to 50 lbs + Able to work as a team with a high degree of productivity + Able to make quick and accurate decisions + Able to solve problems + Able to read, understand, and apply safety rules and regulations + Able to wear respiratory PPE + Able to recognize machine jams If you are interested in this position, please apply to this posting! **Pay Details:** $20.00 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
