Reference Data Analyst
Job Description CFO Data Management is seeking Financial Data Analyst to support one of our financial services clients in the Charlotte, NC market. These individuals will be working with Banking Product & Counterparty data to understand data defects/issues/misclassifications. This bank has over 540,000 clients that they are having to do a data cleanse for to meet federal regulations. Candidates need to have extensive backgrounds working within data analytics for a financial services company, specifically working with banking/financial products. CFO Data Management (CFO DM) is responsible for ensuring data is timely, accurate and complete with respect to the Bank of America CFO Function's needs and use cases. This role will be responsible for Counterparty/Client Reference Data within a larger data environment. Candidates should have extensive work history in several of the following key responsibilities: Key Responsibilities: * Provide Subject Matter Expertise for Counterparty/Client Reference Data * Control Counterparty/Client data consumed by CFO, including investigating and developing remediation plans for data quality issues * Interface with business partners on their data needs, requirements for new data requests, track and prioritize changes * Drive consistency of Counterparty/Client data for CFO consumption * Assist team with data analysis and ensure quality of outputs * Continuously refine output of Value Added Process/Transformation to improve accuracy * Create SQL scripts and conduct user acceptance testing on new data requests * Collaborate across stakeholders including business reporting, product-specific data stewards, tech partners, upstream data providers/data management, and risk/compliance * Identify, review, and evaluate potential upstream systems to determine data sourcing strategy * Follow the proper risk disciplines and proactively escalate as needed * Adhere to Enterprise Data Management Standards and Risk Data Aggregation requirements We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. Skills and Requirements * Bachelor's degree * 3 to 6 years of data analysis and product expertise within the financial industry * Alteryx or SQL experience preferred. Flexible if candidates have strong Excel skills * Counterparty data experience * Alteryx experience * Liquidity (2052 A reporting)/Treasury experience * Experience with Oracle, SQL Server, Alteryx, Teradata, DB2, Netezza, Hadoop, SAP eLedger, Rally, Visio, ETL tools and Data Management tools * Strong knowledge and prior experience with Data Controls monitoring and/or Data Control governance practice * Bank of America, Regulatory Reporting, Client onboarding, or data management experience a plus * Previous familiarity with Bank of America platforms (PRDS, WCC, GWIM, CED, CESIUM) * Exposure to Agile methodology null We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
