Referral Coordinator - OBGYN

Family practice in DTLA is looking for a referral coordinator to join their Pediatrics and OBGYN team! This is an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and gain extensive clinic experience! ENTRY-LEVEL CANDIDATES ARE WELCOME TO APPLY!

REQUIREMENTS:

Bilingual in SpanishExperience handling referrals.Job DescriptionProcess and track all incoming and outgoing referrals, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.Communicate with patients to provide referral information, answer questions, and schedule appointments.Collaborate with healthcare providers to obtain necessary medical records and referral authorizations.Verify patient insurance coverage and obtain pre-authorization for referrals when required.Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the electronic health record (EHR) system.Monitor the status of referrals and follow up with patients and providers to ensure completion.Provide excellent customer service to patients, providers, and other stakeholders.

This is a fully on-site position in Downtown Los Angeles, California.
