**Job Title: Refinery Technician** **Job Description** Environmental Refinery Contractor is looking for long-term field technicians to perform work at various refinery sites. They manage vapor mitigation for the refinery tanks. This will involve monitoring equipment such as Thermo-oxidizer, and loading and unloading materials such as carbon. These are set 12-hour shifts that include both day and night shifts - must be flexible to work both. Also must be flexible to travel nationally up to 25% of the time. Day to Day: - Working with thermo-oxidizer, storage tank degassing, and pumping out the liquid - Hooking up to storage tanks, units, and undergrounds - Working with vapor phase where activated charcoal removes smell and captures organic material - Performing hydro tests - Operating a forklift in the yard - Can be a dirty job when removing charcoal (will get all over clothes and body) - Logging data on paper but switching over to logging on a cell phone sent to HQ in real-time (company cell phone provided) **Hard Skills** + Class A driver + Apply for TWIC + Clean DMV (insurable) - No DUI's - No Accidents + Hair Follicle **Soft Skills** + Good tenure + Flexible work schedule for day or night shift + Able to travel nationally up to 25% of the time **Job Type** This is a permanent position. **Work Environment** Local Bay Area Refineries and refineries in Southern California, Texas, and nationally as needed.
