Job Description
You will be responsible for removing catalysts (filters) and installing new ones inside the piping of refineries. This role involves working in confined spaces while wearing a harness and respiratory equipment full time, including a jumpsuit. You will also be required to climb 100 ft ladders and work in heights and confined spaces.
ResponsibilitiesPerform day-to-day activities in client facilities, both in inert and non-inert confined space environments.Participate in rescue operations as a team member.Work in immediately dangerous to life and health (IDLH) confined space conditions.Operate and maintain company-owned or rented vehicles in a professional manner.Maintain a clean environment and report any unusual findings in the vessel, such as fused catalyst or hot spots.Unload and load tubular vessels.Adhere to all Quality Assurance and Quality Control requirements.Load catalyst beds.Assist with cleaning and correctly loading equipment and trailers.Support Supervisors by keeping work areas clear and free of obstructions.Learn the proper function and usage of Life Support equipment and its safety factors.Wear Life Support equipment on non-inert confined space entries and gain experience for future growth.Operate retrieval devices and multi-gas portable detectors.Monitor surroundings and dangers associated with entering confined spaces.Follow all Company Quality Control/Quality Assurance procedures and processes.Develop skills necessary to perform confined space entries (non-inert).Maintain poise and focus under time constraints and adverse conditions.Attend and complete trainings as required by the Company and client.Pass all required drug/alcohol testing.Essential SkillsMechanical skillsExperience in installation workGeneral labor and construction experienceExperience in refinery environmentsEnvironmental, mechanical, and power tool skillsAdditional Skills & QualificationsAbility to work in refineries and out-of-state per diem jobs, which involves significant travelWhy Work Here?
This is a direct hire position with extensive training provided on-site in Houston. You can earn a substantial income throughout the year, working turnarounds with a lot of hours, and still have time off in between to spend with family.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $62400.00
No benefits until consider FT employee. This can take a year or 2. Or can choose to stay in entry level position and will not receive benefits. Benefits will be through the state.
