Are you an experienced Refractory bricklayer or trade qualified bricklayer with Refractory experience and looking for your next role?
We are looking for a Refractory Supervisor to join our team based in Wiri, Auckland.
Role Responsibilities:
Supervise and lead the refractory installation team. Manage all aspects of refractory installation on site. Maintain safety standards and compliance to meet site and legislative requirements. Manage workplace to maintain compliance within the requirements of client requirements. Ensure jobs and documentation are completed efficiently and in a timely manner. Run morning pre-starts and organise the work plan for the day-to-day activities. Complete risk assessments and complete JSEAs as required.The work can take place in confined spaces, and occasionally hot conditions. Potential candidates would be expected to travel outside of Auckland regularly to provide this service to our valued clients.
Applicants should ideally have:
Bricklaying trade qualification or demonstrated experience, preferably with refractory installation, Minimum 5 years' experience of working in the Refractory Industry as a Leading Hand Bricklayer/Installer. Familiar with different types of refractory installations Ability to work within a team or autonomously Demonstrate a willingness to meet a high standard of Health and Safety compliance A good level of fitness Good communication skills A current driver's licence. Flexible availability (overtime, weekends and overnight jobs away from home)SRG in return will offer:
