Heatcraft products are primarily used to preserve food and other perishables in supermarkets, convenience stores, restaurants, warehouses and distribution centers, in addition to other applications such as data centers, pharmaceutical and industrial process cooling.

Job Description

Location: Stone Mountain, GA (Hybrid: Monday - Thursday in the office with the option to work at home on Friday)

 

As the Refrigeration Application Engineering Supervisor, you will direct and guide a technical service team within a region or district in pre- and/or post-sales HVACR technical support. The scope includes commissioning, installation, testing and providing maintenance services to customers.

 

While the scope of responsibilities is smaller than that of the manager, the person in this position manages a team of application engineers with involvement in personnel management, budget and resource management decisions.

 

Support pre and post-sales activities in terms of correctly applying the product portfolio.Provide customer technical support in the setup, configuring, troubleshooting and operating of products.Provide necessary training to the sales group and customers on the features and proper use and application of product lines.Provide customer-specific programming and parameter settings for custom applications as needed.

 

Qualifications

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

In order to be successful in this role, you will need to have the following:

 

Bachelor's degree or equivalent is preferred. Requires at least 5 years of related experience.Excellent customer service skills, strong math and mechanical knowledge. Has expert knowledge of calculations required for correctly applying equipment and equipment integration. May require knowledge of custom control programming. Must have strong written and verbal communication skills. Requires expertise in leading teams to reach goals. Able to use Microsoft Office.

 

The Compensation range for this position is approximately $98,000 - $128,000 and will be based on the candidate’s qualification, experience, and education.
