Idaho National Laboratory is hiring a Refrigeration/Maintenance Mechanic to work in our Mechanic and HVAC department. Our team works a 4x10 schedule located out of our Materials and Fuels Complex (MFC) with every Friday off. You will perform mechanical maintenance duties on HVAC and Refrigeration equipment at MFC. You will report directly to the manager of the Mechanic and HVAC department. *Responsibilities Include:* * Troubleshoot, repair, install, and perform preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance on Mechanical/Refrigeration systems and components. * Inspect and operate Mechanical/Refrigeration systems and components. * Participate in work planning walk-downs and work-hour estimating. * Build and maintain effective customer relationships. * Perform on the job training (OJT) for other crafts. * Participate in maintenance assessments. * Perform job and shop Lead functions. * Coupling and alignment of mechanical equipment. *Minimum Requirements: * * High school diploma, or equivalent, and 5 years applicable (Refrigeration) experience, or 2-year Vocational training plus 3 years applicable (Refrigeration) experience. * Qualified Universal Refrigeration Technician per 40CFR part 82 subpart F. * Journeyman HVAC Technician license preferred. * This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy "L" clearance, which requires US Citizenship. *Job Information: * * Wage: $38.62/hr (Rate can vary based upon individual work location, clearances, and qualifications.
