Refrigeration Technician

• Maintains working climate by installing, repairing, and servicing refrigeration, and air conditioning systems.
• Restoring and repairing faulty or inoperative refrigeration and HVAC systems and associated equipment.
• Ability to diagnose mechanical and electrical problems both inside and outside of equipment. Have a working knowledge of how to replace any parts of the system of a Refrigeration or HVAC unit; Inspecting refrigeration and HVAC systems and equipment.
• Ability to weld and solder copper and steel tubing.
• Complies with local, state, and federal codes and standards.
• Maintains refrigeration and HVAC maintenance by ensuring that required parts and equipment are available.
• Performs scheduled preventative maintenance on all HVAC and refrigeration equipment to include filter changes and regular cleaning.
• Maintains a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Maintains a professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and safety training classes; reviewing professional publications.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Maintains safe and clean work environment by complying with Circle K and OSHA procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Partners with Circle K Supervisors to facilitate repairs without-sourced vendors.
• Facilitates repairs by contacting vendors for materials and parts.
• Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities and continuing needs.
• Participates in training classes for existing and new equipment.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
• Ensures a safe working environment exists for employees and customers.
