Manages multiple gift shop retail locations within a region, including the operations and supervision of gift shop managers, supervisors and/or other gift shop staff.Job Responsibilities and Requirements:
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversees management functions of regional gift shops, including activities related to staffing such as recruitment, hiring, performance evaluation, training, development, and education.Provides daily guidance to all gift shop managers and/or staff to ensure optimal gift shop operations. Builds a high performing gift shop management team to ensure best outcomes. Plans, orders, organizes, and sets standards across all shops to ensure SSM Health and hospital brand standards. Aligns gift shop buying and purchasing across the region to improve financial effectiveness and efficiency, coordinating all purchasing to ensure exceptional financial performance. Ensures regional gift shops have an environment providing positive interactions with all gift shop managers, employees, volunteers, and shoppers. Manages gift shop goals for growth, efficiency, quality, and profitability. Oversees fiscal human resource and operating plans, organizational expectations, and regulatory requirements. Aligns and builds gift shop budget with each manager to ensure exceptional financial performance. Collaborates with Financial Partners as needed. Oversees the preparation of the gift shops’ and auxiliaries’ monthly financial statements and reports to the Auxiliary/Foundation board.Partners with key stakeholders, such as volunteer directors and/or coordinators, to foster an environment of service to all customers, and ensures appropriate volunteer staffing levels.Creates and maintains Gift Shop policies & procedures. Performs all duties according to entity policies & procedures.Performs other duties as assigned.EDUCATION

Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements.Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) and to identify and distinguish colors.Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication. Ability to hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc.Frequent keyboard use/data entry.Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting and gripping.Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs.Rare climbing.REQUIRED PROFESSIONAL LICENSE AND/OR CERTIFICATIONS
