Regional Account Executive
Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a regional Account Executive to join our client's team. The Account Executive will provide world class customer service to a family of existing and new accounts. This responsibility includes developing trusted, collaborative relationships with existing and prospective clients within all facets of influence: buyers, engineering, production, operations, sales, marketing, and senior leadership. Work strategically with internal resources to identify differentiating applications for our customers specific requirements. Must be able to define strategies and objectives for each customer account, providing sales support as needed, managing risk and performance to maximize ROI. The Account Executive role plays a critical responsibility in profitable revenue generation. We believe in promoting from within and developing talent long term. Specifically, the role is responsible for enhancing the lifecycle of all accounts in concert with the sales operations team, including but not limited to the following:

External Responsibilities

New Business Selling

Prospect new customers, identify sales opportunities, progress sales cycles, negotiate pricing and supply agreements, close sales opportunities.
Build and manage a regional territory plan with target accounts for scalable revenue growth.
Educate prospective customers on the value proposition and outline a path for new business partnership.
Identify, organize, and attend tradeshows to market, promote, and sell products and solutions.

Existing Business Account Management

Directly addresses customer requests, investigate problems, and resolve issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
Work with customers to develop a continuous demand forecast. Track consumption against the forecast every month.
Analyze revenue against gross margin month to month.
Complete understanding of a customers product line and relevant customer applications.
Joint ownership with sales operations of customers well-being and account health.

Internal Responsibilities

Interface with engineering to ensure products are manufactured to customer specifications and quality requirements.
Liaison with purchasing, logistics, and sales operations to ensure availability of materials for orders.
Liaison with production and sales operations team to ensure accurate manufacturing lead times based on customer requests.
Participate in weekly sales meetings with senior leadership, defining current sales opportunities and next steps.
