Regional Aftermarket Engineer

Role Summary:

The Regional Aftermarket Engineer is responsible for achieving parts aftermarket sales growth at customers in a regional designated territory / customer base. Liaising with Sales and Commercial Operations in the development and execution of a focused growth strategy for aftermarket parts sales. Engage customers both internally and externally promoting Flowserve products, services, and solutions related to pump aftermarket parts, demonstrating Flowserve's value proposition to establish long-term business relationships with our customers.

Responsibilities Include:

Individual assigned to support End User Sales Engineers with existing customers & installed equipment:

Obtain equipment installation lists with criticality.Obtain Inventory information of existing parts.Understand market level pricing within region by customer.Collaborate with Commercial leadership within region to support the development of Aftermarket focused action plans at targeted accounts as part of the Sales Engineer Target Account Plan within FlowForce.Support development of a commercial strategy and liaison from field to BOM Database Management Team.Schedule / participate in Target Account Plan calls.  Document actions via RAIL and drive progress.  Escalate when challenges arise.Responsible for supporting transactional requirements between customer & Commercial Operations Focal point for Customer immediate (non-routine) needs.Facilitate / Update of Customer ERP system.Support resolution of items associated with customer related AM programs.Responsible for tracking metrics of programs at targeted customersBe a resource for other AM Embedded Specialists within region to support key customer initiatives.Support resolution of quality related issues with parts supplied to customers.Assist in the development of regional strategic plans related focused on the regional parts business.Provide support and collaboration within both the Sales and Commercial Ops teams.Leverage business systems and market analytics to develop account based targeted growth strategies.Drive the execution and implementation of Parts Programs to promote growth at targeted accounts.

The Area of focus will be Mid-west United States and Western Canada

Requirements:

HS/GED3 to 5 years of Industry related experience Mechanically inclined "Hands On' style personalityBasic understanding of pumps, pump parts, and execution of manufacturing partsBasic understanding of CAD printsBasic understanding of quality process for inspection of machined & cast parts.Ability to interact with different levels of personnel within a customer’s organization.MS Office applications experienceAbility to travel into Canada

Preferred Experience / Skills:

2-4 year degreeUnderstanding of Flowserve computer, systems is a plus.
