C.H. Robinson is currently seeking a **Regional Airfreight Manager** to lead the **Western** region.
As an Airfreight Product Manager, you will be responsible for a team that will develop relationships with carriers and monitor regulatory requirements. Your ability to foster strong connections will be key, as you will act as a bridge between carriers and commercial teams in order to win, retain and drive global forwarding revenue and volumes. Additionally, you will support contract drafting, negotiations, legal compliance, and process management.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
The duties and responsibilities of this position consists of, but are not limited to, the following:
+ Develop relationships with carriers to effectively procure space, allocation, and pricing within the geographical area of responsibility.
+ Negotiate and maintain competitive service contracts.
+ Lead communication with airfreight carriers and commercial resources to optimize tender strategy.
+ Build strong relationships and support teams internally (Branches) and externally (customers)
+ Collaborate with sales and pricing teams to provide carrier data for bids.
+ Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for airfreight carrier relations and present market updates to clients.
+ Provide the network with market analysis and communications
+ Create professional presentations to share with the network and customers, providing carrier and data analysis to communicate risks and propose alternatives.
+ Provide strategy and pricing for RFQs within the geographical responsibility.
+ Work with the restricted commodities team to review and approve restricted commodities requests for export.
+ Ensure compliance with various regulations, serving as an SME for airfreight operations.
+ Develop, maintain, and manage processes related to contract submission, review, and retention (forms, templates, terms).
+ Identify areas for improvement in C.H. Robinson’s contract processes and workflows.
+ Collect and maintain company contracts, approvals, signatures, and related documents.
**Team Leadership:**
+ Outline employee role accountabilities and expectations; provide coaching and manage performance to ensure productivity, quality, efficiency, and service objectives.
+ Hold direct reports accountable for the successful execution of assigned duties and goals.
+ Provide coaching, mentorship, and development opportunities to foster team growth and accountability.
+ Conduct yearly compensation reviews for direct reports, encourage employee feedback through formal and informal channels. Act on feedback to foster a trusting culture of open communication, inclusivity, and continuous improvement.
+ Cascade communications on divisional and organizational initiatives to ensure employee understanding and alignment.
+ Employ strong change management tactics to drive desired behaviours and results for both direct and indirect reports.
+ Perform other duties as assigned according to team and/or country-specific requirements.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
Required:
+ Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
+ Minimum 10 years of product management experience in the logistics industry
+ Minimum 5 years of experience leading and managing teams
+ Ability to travel up to 20% (within geographical responsibility)
Preferred:
+ Previous Air Freight experience
+ Demonstrated negotiation, collaboration, and influencing skills
+ Demonstrated verbal and written communication and multi-tasking skills, including excellent project and meeting management
+ Advanced Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of products
