As a Regional Category Manager Connection Systems you will be in charge of Connection Systems Category with 350 M euros spend/over 100 global and regional suppliers.
 

Your Role:

Build and implement long term strategies, aligned with stakeholders and in line with business needs including customer satisfaction, security of supply, overall performance

Manage team of 6 buyers, develop team capabilities in negotiation, sourcing, implementation of the category strategy

Manage sourcing activities in line with defined category strategy

Monitor and improve category performance including commercial, quality and delivery KPIs

Introduce new suppliers in line with business needs

Manage relationships with key suppliers

Lead negotiation of contracts and long term agreements with suppliers

Reduce risk in supply chain by mitigating single source suppliers, improving localization, monitoring suppliers
financial health

Drive continuous improvement thru cross functional collaboration with engineering, commercial, manufacturing
teams

Your Background:

Engineering degree and/or degree in finance/economics

At least 8 years of experience in purchasing organization

Full proficiency in spoken and written English language

Experience in Connection Systems Category

Excellent leadership and communication skills
 

Additional advantage would be:

Experience in the automotive industry

Experience in work in international environment
