What You’ll Be Doing 

Exposed to businesses ranging from $5mln to $1bln in revenue, offering financial solutions for businesses. Support senior deal team members in the groups activities ranging from deal origination, structuring and underwriting.Works closely with team members and cross-functional teams within the bank to prepare internal documentationParticipates in client due diligence and pre screen meetings

 

Who You Are 

Bachelors Degree, preferably with a major/minor in Finance/AccountingSupport Portfolio Managers and Relationship Managers to understand and apply credit policy and interpreting financial statementsParticipate in the underwriting process, preparing financial models, profitability and risk rating models.Ability to multi task and strong attention to detailStrong analytical skills and decision making abilitiesPerforms portfolio management activities forEngage and communicate with colleagues

At CIBC, we offer a competitive total rewards package.  This role has an expected salary of $72,500 for the market based on experience, qualifications, and location of the position.  The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit’s incentive compensation plan, which also may include a discretionary bonus component. CIBC offers a full range of benefits and programs to meet our employee’s needs; including Medical, Dental, Vision, Health Savings Account, Life Insurance, Disability, and Other Insurance Plans, Paid Time Off (including Sick Leave, Parental Leave, and Vacation), Holidays,  and 401(k), in addition to other special perks reserved for our team members. 

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location. Additional total compensation and benefits details will be provided during the hiring process.
