Regional Compliance and Ethics Manager
Overview A highly competent, detail-oriented compliance officer to support Asia BUs & ANZ Director to implement and manage the compliance program in Asia Foods locations. The compliance officer will play a crucial role in reaching out to the employee population in Thailand & Vietnam. Responsibilities Internal investigation case manager and lead investigator foir high risk cases, approximate 40 total cases and 5-10 high risk cases per year, each taking 40-60 days to complete, align the Control Environment Committee members on all substantiated cases and the action plans before execution. Track the completion of the investigation remedial actions, influence stakeholders to take timely and solid improvements addressing the issues identified in investigations. Design, deliver and track compliance process onboarding for the country offices in scope. Lead Culture of Integrity and Leading with Integrity and other business ethics in-person trainings to the relevant teams and executive management every year. Design, implement and track the impact of the compliance related communication and messages in the BU. (Videos, flyers, email messages, portal banners, physical items, etc) Coordinate the assignment and completion of annual code of conduct and ABAC trainings during Code month Establish presence and manage the compliance programs in the 3 existing plants and the future Ha Nam Plant. Run compliance risk assessment and align and manage the action plan resulting from it Join control as a subject matter expert in fraud risk assessments in each market Manage the conflict-of-interest disclosures made by the employees in the ICF BU. (50-60 disclosures per year) Build and maintain regular connects with the BU management teams to stay up to date on the business to ensure adequate steps are taken to mitigate compliance risk. Attend the project steerco meetings for existing and future Greenfield projects. Manage and track the adherence to the guardrails established around the assignment of chairmen / commissioner roles in the BU. Prepare quarterly updates for the BU Control environment committee (CEC: CFO, Controller, HRD, General Counsel), present the stats and highlights and escalate issues and red flags in the BU, follow up on the CEC meeting action points. Support the Asia, ICF & ANZ BU Compliance Officer with any other ad-hoc issues or delegated tasks where needed. Qualifications What you need to have? Relevant Degree from a mid-top tier university. (Law, Business, Economics, Accounting, Science or Engineering) Preferred to have 7+ years of experience in Internal or external audit, consulting, HR, control, finance, compliance, or legal. In-house experience in FMCG or a highly regulated industry is a plus. What makes you stand out? Fluency in English both spoken & written.
