Working knowledge of construction, the National Electrical Code, OSHA regulations, state and local regulations and general safety standards. NCTI, SCTE, or other broadband certification, or previous experience in installing and troubleshooting broadband services is preferred. Familiar with all phases of the construction process and procedures for small-scale projects.
Construction Coordinator II
Construction Coordinator I requirements met.
Four years in role or equivalent experience.
Construction Coordinator FTR Level 2 Certification Test.
Construction Coordinator Field Competency 2 Test.
Proficient in project BOM creation and complete material tracking and reconciliation.
Familiar with all phases of the construction process and procedures for large-scale projects.
Proficient in Compass, GIS tracking, and contract negotiations.
Construction Coordinator III
Construction Coordinator II requirements met.
Six years in role or equivalent experience.
Construction Coordinator FTR 3 Certification Test.
Construction Coordinator Field Competency 3 Test.
Five years of Project Management background, or equivalent experience.
Proficient in all State DOT Permitting & Railroad processes.
Oversee and direct multiple large-scale projects.
The hiring range for this position is $24.50 - $32.00. This pay range is inclusive of multiple job levels. The actual base pay offered will be determined based on multiple factors including the level of job offered, internal equity, location, and the individual’s job-related knowledge, skills and experience. This position is hourly and may be eligible for additional compensation such as overtime and career progression pay increases. In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for an annual bonus plan based on company and/or individual performance.
WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The employee may occasionally be required to reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or carry loads of up to 84 lbs. The noise level in the work environment is moderate to loud. The employee may frequently be exposed to outside weather conditions and may occasionally be exposed to moving mechanical parts, high, precarious places, risk of electrical shock, and risk of radiation and vibration. Ability to analyze complex plans, identify potential issues, and develop effective solutions. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with team members, vendors, customers, and regulatory officials. Must be prepared to travel on short notice and work extended, flexible hours. Employees may be required to work in excess of 40 hours per week and other than normal business hours, such as holidays, evenings and weekends as business demands.
