Samsung has developed a proprietary ad platform that leverages unique first party TV data to help brands connect to their audience as they explore content across desktop, mobile, tablets and our SMART TVs. The Samsung Ad Platform delivers high-quality audience targeting powered by three key components: first-party audience data at scale, world-class data science, and brand-safe cross-device ad inventory.

Reporting directly to the Head of Growth. the Regional Director, Growth This role will lead our Growth Sales efforts in the Western region responsible for leading a team focused on new customer acquisition, accelerating the growth with existing customers and forming new agency partnerships.

The ideal candidate should have a passion for streaming video, expertise in data driven audience activation, and a pulse on new multi-channel advertising technologies. With the rapid growth of programmatic activation in Connected TV, this leader should be equally comfortable speaking in terms like PG, PMP, and SSP as they are with insertion orders. This leader must be able to think strategically, anticipate how buying decisions are made, uncover the business needs of key clients and have a proven ability to help the team close deals. Additionally, this executive will be the consummate team-player and have the ability to work collaboratively across the sales organization within a fluid and fast-paced environment. The right person for this role is passionate about coaching and career development for early in career full-cycle sellers, excited about new logo acquisition across high-growth startups and SMBs, and experience driving scaled customer expansion motions.

  

The Regional Director, Growth position is based in New York with the potential for frequent travel to key business markets. Responsibilities:

Leading, growing and managing ad sales team, maximizing revenue growth for the North America Sales Organization through development, implementation and ongoing improvement of sales and service programs and initiativesBe responsible for developing the talent on the team and building growth plans to ensure all team members are on a high performing trajectory.Lead from the front and be hands on with customers, participating in customer meetings and developing customer pitches/sales narratives.Sales Strategy & Planning:  Will be responsible for building the annual and quarterly revenue growth strategy for the region including developing new customer acquisition target lists. Partnership Development:  Will be responsible for leading the team to develop new agency partnerships and secure spend commitments/agreements from customers.Identify and execute large events to support lead generation

Required Experience:

Bachelor's Degree; MBA or other advanced degree a plus10+ years of industry or relatable experience with a significant portion spent working at a video publisher, DSP or SSP5+ years of sales leadership experience with a focus on new customer acquisitionBuilders mindset and entrepreneurial spiritSuccessful internal and external relationship managementExperience working in both entrepreneurial and established corporate culturesExcellent written and verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail, and good follow-throughTalent at explaining complex topics in simple terms in person, over the phone or video conference

The salary range for this role is expected to be between $210,000 and $240,000.  Actual pay will be determined considering factors such as relevant skills and experience, and comparison to other employees in the role.

• Typically requires a minimum 12 years of related experience and a Bachelor's degree, or 10 years and a Master's degree, or a PhD with 7 years experience
